We placed seven pairs of camera-trap stations along two rarely used (< 1 vehicle per day), relatively narrow (about 5-m wide) and not-open-to-the- public dirt roads... Each pair of stations was separated by a distance of >1 km from the next nearest pair. All camera traps were the same model (Leaf River® Trail Scan Model C-1)" (this is a film camera); counts pertain only to one of each pair
