Sampling comments: "a 100 ha grid with six parallel transects spaced 200 m apart... Six sampling points were established along each transect line, separated by 200 m one from each other, forming a 6 by 6 matrix with a total of 36 sampling points... sampled on a monthly basis for 24 mo... One point in each transect was chosen at random and sampled for one month, and each point was sampled twice a year... Five pitfall traps were placed at each collection point in a cross-shaped pattern... Four trees were sampled at each point using 80- by 80-cm beating trays (20 beats were applied to each tree)... Invertebrates were also sampled using Malaise traps covering an area of 2 m2"
