Country: Indonesia
State: Jambi

Coordinate: 2° 1' S, 103° 20' E
Basis of coordinate: based on political unit
Geography comments: "in the regency of Batang Hari, province of Jambi"
Drescher et al. () indicate that the sites are spread over an area at least 50 km across covering much the regency, all of which is southwest of Jambi City
coordinate is based on Batang Hari
Climate and habitat
Habitat: tropical/subtropical moist broadleaf forest
Altered habitat: plantation
Protection: unprotected
Substrate: ground surface
Disturbance: selective logging
Habitat comments: "upland and riparian rubber plantations... between 8 and 28 years old... all plantations were monoculture smallholdings using less intensive crop management (weeding, fertilizing, harvesting) than company estates"
Life forms: lizards, snakes, frogs
Sampling methods: no design, pitfall traps, auditory, hand capture
Sample size: 215
Years: 2017
Sampling comments: "We collected data from April 4, 2017 until July 9, 2017 in 24 core plots... For each habitat, there were four square, replicate plots of 50 x 50 m, situated in different plantations... We coupled visual and aural surveys with pitfall traps... each plot was visited six times for 1 h by two herpetologists (AP and HJ), resulting in 12 person-hours of visual-aural surveys per plot, and 288 person-hours overall... We also set up four pitfall traps per plot, one in the centre of each of the four sections... they were active for approximately 36 h... we also mounted four pitfall traps in each plot, for a total of 192 trap installations"
animals "were temporarily captured" and detected by identifying calls
forest plots were sampled in June and July
