"Early/Middle Miocene transition (mammal unit MN 5)" and specifically in the early part of MN 5 before the Earyl/Middle Miocene boundary (this interpretation of MN 5 differs from that of Costeur and Legendre 2008, which I am following and which indicates an age of about 15. Ma for early MN 5)
