Life forms: mosquitoes
Sites: 8
Sampling methods: no design, baited, light traps
Sample size: 9903
Years: 2010
Days: 9
Nets or traps: 32
Net or trap nights: 288
Sampling comments: "The site was our unit of replication, providing eight landscape replicates. At each site, a trap was placed in 1) a deciduous woodland, 2) a grassland adjacent to deciduous woods, 3) an eastern red cedar stand, and 4) a grassland adjacent to eastern red cedar for four trap locations per site. Thus, we had 32 trap locations in total... Adult host-seeking mosquitoes were collected at 2-wk intervals in overnight sessions, from 2 July to 23 October 2010, using Centers for Disease Control and Prevention light traps with the light removed... Traps were baited with ~􏰂1.0 kg of dry ice" (i.e., traps were set on nine nights)
